Megan Berringer (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio. She has professional experience working in case management, hospital social work, inpatient psychiatric admissions and private practice.
Megan is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) by the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. She incorporates an eclectic set of therapy styles including Psychodynamic therapy and Ego State therapy. She recognizes that therapeutic rapport is the best indicator of success, and considers her clients to be the experts of their own lives.
Megan is passionate about strength sports. She started lifting weights during undergrad and quickly realized mental and physical benefits. She has experience in powerlifting and weightlifting, where she continues to learn and grow in her own recovery from trauma.
